I went to mechanic he said the water pump is leaking and needs to be changed. I donot see any leakage so how is it leaking. Second he said break pads rotters need to be changed but there is no noise when i break. I was just wondering do they suggest all this looking at mileage or model.

He gave me 1200 $ estimate for spark plugs, water pump rotter breaks etc. I am just wondering is it all needed or they do it as said in manual. My car does not have any cranking problem no noise etc.

Please advice its lot of money.

Hi anu73,

Is there any coolant losses from the radiator?

Seems rather low mileage for water pump and rotor to give way.
