2002 Toyota Echo wont move once in gear

Transmission problem
2002 Toyota Echo 4 cyl Manual 85000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
when i put my car in gear it does not move anywhere it just sits there reving up.
has my transmission gone bad?

Check the throttle position and vehicle speed sensors they give the computer the throttle and governor pressures/ inputs then the computer commands the transmission to upshift/downshift/lock-up. etc

Or problem with the transmission range sensor
