2001 Toyota Echo 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When ignition is switched on there is a series of fast clicks. Engine does not turn. Battery is new and is not flat.

that normally indicates a faulty starter system. have the starter solenoid tested, most auto part stores will do this for free.
