Engine Mechanical problem
2001 Toyota Echo 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 160K miles

Toyota Echo 2001

I got random misfires from my check engine light. So I changed my plugs. Still getting the error so then I changed my ignition coils. Took the car for a spin and it seemed worse. Then tried to start it up the next day and it wouldn't. The replacing of parts seemed easy so how could I have gone wrong? The car makes a lot of noise when trying to start, seems like Starter is fine, or at least trying. Tried to jump it just in case, no difference. I took the new ignition coils out and put back in the old ones, no difference. I hope the new ones weren't defective and ruined something?

Wondering if it is fuel/air mixture?
Also when I pulled the coils out again, i looked at the plugs, and they looked a little dirty? would cleaning them then using a fuel injector potentially fix my issue?

P0300 Random Misfires normally points to vacuum leaks and bad fuel.

Engine misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.
