Hesitation

When I step on the gas in my car it hesitates. If I ease in to the gas it runs fine. When I am driving it, it hesitates until a certain rpm, but then it shifts and starts all over again. I just change the O2 sensor before the catalytic converter because the engine light was on, and I thought that would fix the hesitation. When the check engine light came on, that is about the same time it started to hesitate.

Hello,

This sounds like a MAF problem I would not try to clean it needs replacement. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job:

I wish I found this post earlier I just paid $280.00 to have the MAF replaced for the same problem.
