How do I read trouble codes on a 1992 Toyota Cressida

I have a 1992 Toyota Cressida with a V6. Is there a way to read the codes through the MIL by grounding out a terminal like on some cars?

Without the super monitor you need to jump TE-1 to E-1 at the check connector on the left front fender then count off the flashes.
