I am wondering if it's necessary to change the oil in my 1991 Toyota Cressida. It leaks oil and I am adding oil every few months. It wouldn't still get dirty or gunky, would it? I was wondering.

engine oil should be replaced every 3,000 miles...if you haven't been doing this than there is likely a LOT of sludge build up in the motor and you may consider having engine flushed and replacing oil and filter immediately.
