Engine Mechanical problem
1987 Toyota Cressida Automatic 161,00 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I just bought this car and it ran fine -- three times. Now it won't start. We've replaced the ignition lock because that was broken. The car will start from underneath and has turned over when the battery cables/terminals were adjusted.

All of the indicator lights come on and the alarm (horn) goes off every time I unlock the car.

Any ideas?

Hi LynfW,

The engine will crank and not start or it cannot crank?

No crank, just silence and the indicator lights.

We're cleaning the battery terminals tonight. Hope it helps.
