Engine Performance problem
1986 Toyota Cressida 100000 miles

I am sorry, but the type of vehicle isn't on here. It is a 1986 Toyota Dolphin Motor Home. My friend just put in a new motor and added a Garrett Turbo, which he was told would increase his mileage. It went from 16 down to 10mpg. The engine is a 22 RE. Is this any kind of question you can answer?

Hi there,

You will have to get the turbo boost checked, is the exhaust suitable for the turbo? is it a new turbo or second hand?
