1993 Toyota Corona Engine stalling

When the car has been moving for a while and then I stop and switch off the engine lsay in a traffic jam or at traffic lights,on switching on the engin e starts well but before stepping on the acceleratoe pedal for the car to start moving,the engine switches off.

At times after parking the car for say 10 hours,when engine is switched on it starts well then switches off after say 30 seconds

Do this in the airflow meter block the air flap wide open and see what happens-let me know
