Whoop, Whoop Noise

97 Totota Corolla, The noise only happens while applying the brakes and it comes from the right rear. I assume that it's not a wheel bearing or it would do it all the time. I have been told that it may be a brake shoe slipping?

Don't hesitate! Pull the rear wheel and look at the brakes before you do some real damge and loose your brakes all the way. I suspect a broken brake spring
