Corolla headlight weirdness

2000 Corolla LE, 110,000 miles.

Running headlights turn on during day instead of night. Manual headlight switch will turn headlights on during day but not at night. Fuses fine. Bulbs of course fine. Replaced headlight relay already.

Note: switch will turn on parking lights day or night.

Hello!
Check the following:

automatic light control sensor (on top left side of dash)

and daytime running light relay (main) (behind dash above glove box)

the sensor and the main relay are responsible for the issue you had.

I would start checking the relay.
