I am going to replace the head gasket in my car. I wanted to know if anyone knows the order the bolts go on, the time the belt should be marked at or anything else that could help.
thanks

This is a time consuming job. If this is a 4A-FE or 4A-GE engine the camshafts will have to be removed.
I would highly recommend getting a Haynes manual for this.
Aslo don't remove a lot of stuff from the engine, in other words, remove the exhaust manifold bolts and studs and let it hang down out of the way. Same with the intake manifold, ubolt it and push it to the rear to just clear the head. This method will make reassembly much easier. Use a paint pen to mark connectors and vacumm lines and take detailed pictures of the engine (digital camera) for reference.
The camshaft bearing caps are marked for cylinder #, intake/exhaust and direction, Use NEW head bolts and unless the timing belt is brand new, replace it, or if it becomes contaminated with ANY oil or coolant, replace it.

You may also want to consider a used JDM engine, I replaced a 4A-FE engine with a JDM engine I bought off ebay. The engine had 24,000 miles and purrs like a kitten. The engine and shipping was $550.
