Tires and Wheels problem
2006 Toyota Corolla 49000 miles

I had to get all four tires replaced when I was at 41000 miles on my car (now at 49000). I know I was told to get my tires rotated every 5000 miles. Do I still need to hold to this saying or will I be ok getting them rotated and balanced at 50000. I have also been having a lot of shaking of my wheel. I know it is probably due to the alignment but I have had a wheel alignment although this was before getting brand new tires. Could the tires be the cause of this?
