My check engine light came on. The computer code is PO 171 B B-1 S-1, which I was told is the O-2 sensor before the catalityc. I replaced it with an "NTK" sensor part # 24661.This is the 3rd time the engine light has come on with in the past 2 months, same code and the same part replaced twice so far. One Toyota dealer, when I called for a price on the part said it was not an O-2 sensor, but was an "air fuel relay sensor" another Toyota dealer has called it an O-2. Is the dealer part "Air fuel relay" different from the NTK O-2? According to a technical person at "NTK", I have replaced the right part, but 3 times in 2 months??? In calling around to varoius mechanics and dealers, I am getting nowhere. It is as if no one can verify for me which part I should be using.
