2006 Toyota Corolla dinghy towing

I would like to tow this vehicle behind a motohome, and was told that I could do something to the transmission to make it able to be towed. Is this correct or should I not for some reason?

Your owners manual should have towing instructions. But you would want to have the front wheels off the pavement and tow only with rear wheels.
