What does it mean when the light "MAINT REQD" comes on?

it could mean a whole bunch of things from dirt engine oil to a vacuum leak. bring it to autozone or your local parts place and have it scanned on the computer for free to see what kind of trouble or"maintainance" codes were set. and then get back to me
