Engine Performance problem
2006 Toyota Corolla Two Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
Recently I was at a stoplight and when i pressed on the gas, the car would not move. It felt like I had the emergency brake up. When I pumped the gas the car moved a little. I turned the car off, restarted it, and it was moving fine. Until it started pulling again. When I restarted the car, the engine light came on.

Could you tell me what's possibly wrong with the car and what needs to be done.

Thank you
