I have a 2006 Corolla still under warranty (less than 36K miles). When the car is hot after driving, the car squeaks when a front passenger and I exit the vehicle as the vehicle naturally rolls back and forth a little. My mechanic says it's the bushings. Toyota says the bushings are fine and have the brakes checked. Who's more likely to be right?

Hi there,
This could be either! So the nest way to find out is to park the car with the hand brake on and rock the car gently side to side, this will act on the bushes and not the brakes as much, if no noise i would be suspecting the brakes, you can also try getting the passenger to exit the car while you hold pressure on the brakes, if noise is there it will be the suspension, do a few tests your self and see what you come up with.
