2005 Toyota Corolla Throw out bearing on clutch

When the clutch is released it makes a high pitched noise. Myy mechanic says it is the throwout bearing on the clutch. Cost to repair -- $600. Is this a reasonable price. Thankyou, Frank.

Hi there,

The bearing is around $40.00 Transmission oil $30.00 and around 7 hrs labour so depending on the labour rate i feel that its around what you would expect to pay.
