Shakes or Wobbles problem
2005 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

While I am driving, periodically, my steering wheel jiggles back and forth. It also shakes when I am applying my brakes

May be two seperate problems or a rotor that is warped (other problem may be an alignment issue).

Remove rotors and lay on flat surface like garage floor, if they wobble, they will need to be turned or replaced. If warped and replaced/turned and problem persists, take to an alignment shop.

They can align and check for suspension/steering component failure (ball joints, bearings, bushings).
