I HAVE A 2005 TOYOTA COROLLA S! I LOVE THE CAR TO DEATH! BUT FOR SOME REASON WHEN I DO 40 MPH MY MOTOR OR SOMETHING AROUND THAT ARE IS MAKING A TICKING NOISE! IT DONT REALLY SOUND TO GOOD! ANY IDEAS WHAT IT COULD BE THAT IS CAUSING THIS NOISE? IT DOESNT MAKE THE NOISE AT ANY OTHER SPEED BESIDES 40! AND TO GET THE NOISE TO STOP I HAVE TO SPEED UP OR SLOW DOWN. PLEASE HELP! I HOPE MY CAR ISNT GOING TO BLOW UP!

First check oil pressure with mechanical gauge. If low then you may have a bad oil pump.
If OP is OK then check fron CV axles for cracks in boot, trans fluid level, and differential fluid level.
