36,531 miles, is posible tha fuel pump on this new car to be defective or how can i chek this part, i have a meter, if so how many ohms shold read acrros the two terminals on the pump it self

the pump should be gettign around 12v at the pump connector, to test the pressure you need a fuel pressure test guage not a meter.
