2004 Toyota Corolla replace car antenna

2004 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Automatic 78000 miles

the antenna is on top of the car and is broken
and i was told by toyota that it would cost about $600.00 to replace because they had to replace the headliner also in the process of replacing the antenna.

so my question is how can i replace the antenna

You will have to remove headliner to replace antenna, wheather you have to replace the headliner is another question.

If headliner is otherwise OK, then you would not have to replace it.
