P0505 appeared when I had a diagnostic done on the car Idle Control System Malfunction what should I do?

It is an idle speed error, the idle speed is not within the parameters specified by PCM.

It is generally the IAC (Idle Air Control) valve malfunction.

You can try removing and cleaning or replacing, or if you do not feel you can do this, take to a trusted garage.
