I filled my gas tank a couple of days ago until it was full. I've driven over 100 miles already and the needle is still on full. Why hasn't the needle moved?

Hi cwalch,

When the fuel tank is full, the float is pushed to the uppermost part of the tank and it will only start to slide down when the tank is about 90 % full.

Drive another 30 to 50 miles and it should be on its way down. If it still does not move, you need to check the sending unit or wire circuits.
