Hello there

I own a Toyota Corolla 2003 with only 40000 miles. From time to time I hear a squeaking noise, like metal with metal, grindng noise coming from the right hand side of the car front.

Could it be brakes? Or belts?

Many thanks

Jack car up, put on stands, remove the tires and inspect the brakes (calipers, rotors, pads) for any excessive or uneven wear, warpage.

Especially inspect rotors for grooving.
