Electrical problem
2003 Toyota Corolla Automatic 106,00 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
This may be a silly question, but as I know very little about the workings of a car, I feel as though often mechanics can sense that naivte.
A few times over the last few months, when I use the "clicker" to unlock the car, it will lock itself on its own a few seconds later. This doesn't happen all of the time, but it has happened. Now, this morning I walked out to an unlocked car. Locks aren't working, car won't start, and the alarm light inside is flashing and making a clicking sound.
I haven't replaced the battery since buying the car at 36,000 miles. Could this be the battery, or is something more serious with the electrical system going on?
Thanks!

If you can get to the battery get it load tested-if okay get the auto theft deterrent device checked out-
