2001 Toyota Corolla failed smog check

hi,
my toyota recently failed smog test with only 1 problem.
NO (PPM) ------ MAX 477,AVE 16, MEAS 764. so on
15 mph tested too much. can you point out what can cause this? thank you kindly.

NOX emissions are high when the EGR valve is malfunctioning. Remove, clean, see if that helps.
