I pulled the engine out of the car already and now I need to disconnect the transmission from the engine to put it on a stand. What steps do I need to take to remove the transmission from the engine without messing anything up? Thank you.

Firts open the access panel and disconnect the flexplate to convertor bolts.

Loosen oil pan, support trans, remove trans bolts, pull trans straight out.
