2000 Toyota Corolla Signal lights

I have a strange problem. My turn signals and hazard lights do not work. If I turn the hazard light switch to the on position the signal lights work normally.

so the turn signals only work if the hazard switch is turned on? most likely due to wiring issue, check the wiring at both the hazard and the turn signal switch.
