I see Malfunction Indicator lamp comes ON when I switch on the car?

I see Malfunction Indicator lamp comes ON when I switch on the car. It remains ON till I start the engine. Once I start the engine it goes OFF. Is this a normal behavior or do I need to worry about some malfunctioning. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

The lights will illuminate when you turn the key to the on position and start the vehicle.
It is a standard circuit check procedure.
Lights will stay on for few seconds, then the lights will go off after the self check.
This is completely normal process.
