Okay, recently I got a few repairs done by my local mechanic. the problems he "fixed" was the rear brakes were down to 5% so he replaced the shoes and hardware and machined the drums. He also "fixed" a problem I was having with a squeak which I thought could be a pulley which he claimed it was so he "replaced" the tensioner pulley. Well now my problem is that the rear brakes don't seem to do anything like when i'm driving and I pull the e-brake it sounds like almost a smooth rock is rubbing against the rotors and the squeak has resurfaced so I kindof almost think he just sprayed some WD40 but its worn out. Just hoping you could let me know if this sounds fishy or if its normal. thanks

Remove rear drums and measure diameter, if more than the MAX. diameter stamped on drum, replave them. If not remove drum and turn adjusting assy unti drums fit snug.

He may or may not have replaced the tensioner. It should look relatively new if replaced, if dirty/greasy then he probably did dpray a lube on it.
