2000 Toyota Corolla engine noise

My toyota corolla engine making some strange noise like something scratching inside the engine.

Check all fluid levels, if OK, then inspect the serpentine belt, it may need to be replaced, especially after 340,000 miles!

Could also be a bearing on the tensioner, waterpump, alternator, AC compressor etc.
