felt a sensation like a flat tire in the steering wheel and thought a belt was broken on driver's side front tire.
today, after driving 20 min. that wheel was hot, very hot and i smelled, what i think is brakes. also noticed black particles around the rim. (the front brakes were repaired 4 months ago).
i made an appointment to have this looked at, but i live in the 'boonies' and have to drive an hour to get there.
because of the heat, i am thinking my problem may be more than a broken belt.
i am a bit nervous driving that distance not knowing the actual problem. can you shed some light on the subject, and do you think i can make it to the repair shop safely??? thanks for your help.
