1999 Toyota Corolla Need to giggle blicker arm to work

Left blinker makes a fast clicking sound but no outside lights blink and no internal dashboard arrows.

Some giggling gets it to slow down, then external lights blink and internal dashboard arrows work properly.

Is this something I can fix myself?

Possible

- faulty switch due to bad contacts inside or possble
- bad ground or intermitten in operation
- less likely buy possibke flasher issue

If this occurs almost every time you can try jumping the switch and see if its the switch acting up.
