Electrical problem
1999 Toyota Corolla 84000 miles

I was in my car trying to lock the doors and crack my windows and nothing worked, when I open the door I can roll down the windows and sometimes I can lock and unlock my door. If I use the keys to unlock the doors only the driver side door will unlock, and if I leave all my doors unlocked when I start my car the locks twitch like they are trying to lock and unlock on their own, so I have to put all the locks down by hand to make the twitching stop. I can lock and unlock the doors from the passenger side.

Hi innocentangel81,

The problem is most probably caused by a faulty door key lock and unlock switch located behind the door panel. It is intermittently self activating resulting in the twitching when vehicle is started.

As passenger side can operate the locks, the system is in working order.
