When driving and hitting a bump on the road, I can hear my front brake pads banging around in the caliper. It is very obvious. I know its the front brakes due to when I apply the brakes going over a bump, the noise is not there. Is it possible I have bad calipers? The rotors and pads are new and only have about 1,000 miles on them. Just a note, this same problem was occurring even before the front rotors and pads were changed. The car brakes normally and there are no leaks. Brake fluid is full. Any help is appreciated.

Remove the rotors and hang the caliper out of way. I would buy a hardware kit for the front brakes and install it.
Check the caliper slide pins for binding and lay the rotor flat on a level surface to check for warping.
