Hi, I have corolla 1999 1zfe engine 1.8l 3 speed automatic transmission. In low idle have that sucking noise in the air box( filter box).I trace that noise and get to the hole in the throttle body, if I cover little bit that hole the noise is gone.I took apart that ISC valve control clean it put it back but still the same. My car have 109 000 miles and like to eat oil, I just want to know if that problem is not oil consumption related. Is that ISC got bad?I've changed PCV valve as well but no improvement. Thanks

There should be no hole in the TB, make sure the tube to TB is connected properly.

The IAC (idle air control) valve controls idle by bypassing air through the hole to the intake.

30% load at idle would add additional fuel to engine. Did you replace IAC?

You may want to take to Toyota or trusted garage and get a diagnosis, 110K miles is considered low for a Toyota.
Having said that, if you have a serious problem, then you may be right about trading.
