The serpentine belt came off and in the process the power steering pulley will not sit right. I can not tell if the bolt that kept it in place has broken off somewhere in the bore hole. The bolt appears OK with threads at the tip of the bolt.
Would it be a costly repair to have the tensioner bolt drilled out and replaced?
It was over tightened and it broke off just where the threads start on the bolt itself. I think the bolt, itself, is called a "boss-head bolt".
The space in the engine is so small and tight that I find it difficult to see into the bolt holes to find out if the bolts have broken off and the remains need to be extracted somehow.
