toyota (ae100- 5a twin cam engine) 106000km. when engine is cold a loud knocking noise comes out from the engine tappets pan cover but when warms up little or no noise.i tried a heavier oil(mobil 5w 50) but only little improvements.my oil light cut off like normal so i'm sure my oil unit and my oil pump functioning well.i think it has to do with the hydraulic valve lifters is there any thing i can do to to rapair this or whats your advice.

Replace the lifter/s you have a leakdown problem and also check the oil pressure
