My gear shift is stuck in park and my brake lights are out. The car is still drivable. What can be the problem?

most likely your car is stuck in park because your brake lights are out. Check fuse for the brake lights, it is probably blown. once the circuit is working the brake light switch will release the shifter once the brake pedal is depressed
