ive noticed my front left wheel has loose movement when i jacked it up.it also at times makes a screetching noise and gets worse when i brake.the noise seems to come and go at any time.im fairly sure its my bearing.just wandering what it would cost me to have it replaced by a mechanic

Hi there,

This should only take about 1 hr to replace, as long as the old bearing is not seized in the housing, so i would suggest you price a bearing kit and find out the local labour rate, as this can vary considerably depending on wher you live, i may be out in an estimation of price.
