1997 Toyota Corolla damaged front passenger door lock

How to I remove the inside panel on the front passenger side? I need to change the door lock.

You have to remove the door handle, usually two conceiled screws behind removeable trim, the inside door handle, secured with a screw and pushes foward and out to remove, and the window handle or power window switch, the window crank is held in place from behind by a clip and the power window switch snaps in.

The door panel pulls out and is retained by plastic retainers which (generally) can be reused.

If in doubt, use the car repair link in this thread or get a Haynes manual.
These manuals are the first "tool" you should by if you intend to do it yourself.
