My car makes weird noises and shakes when you accelerate or turn the wheel. We aren't sure exactly whats wrong with it but we believe its the ball joint and tie rod. If you know what it is I would love to know what.

What are the steps to replacing the ball joint and tie rod on a Toyota Corolla?

Raise car, put on stands. Grasp wheel and push/pull both horizontally and vertically.

Horizontal movement would be tie rods, vertical movement would be ball joint/control arm.
