Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1996 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual

How hard are struts on this vehicle i was told it took 8 hours in a shop 2 hours on the front and 6 on the rear, I was just wanted verify this because im doing them in the drive way. If you have any tips they would be appreciated thank you.

Hi there,

about 1 hr per strut ( not including removing & re fitting the coil spring) for the average home mechanic should do it, but do you have the correct tooling, as you have to be able to compress the suspension spring safely to undo the top plate.
