My car has a constant noise coming from the front wheels while driving at first I thought it was the cv axles but it makes noise even while going straight.Cv axle noises usually only happen while turning right.,I jacked the car up and put it in gear and the sound goes away could it be the axles or the bearings. Please help....

Axles can make noise going straight, inspect boots for cuts/tears.

With car in air, grasp wheel and move horizontally and vertically, if movement, then bearings are a definate possibility, especially with the noise.
