1995 Toyota Corolla Power Steering Whinning

Changed the pump. Still whinned. Changed the rack. Quiet for three weeks, and now it is whining again. What in the world is going on here!! Please help.

Possibly a faulty new pump, have a word with the supplier, they should supply anew unit.

I insisted there was something wrong with the replacement pump and they kept it an extra day and claim they replaced it with another pump. Same problem. If it's not the pump itself what else can this be.

As the system is only the pump and the rack with two hoses, the rack may be defective.
