1995 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My gear shift won't move i put a new brake switch on and i keep rocking the car and pumping the brakes trying to put move the gear shift what else is there to do.

Recheck your work, there is a switch that prevents the gearshift from being moved unless the brake pedal is depressed.
There is a bypass button on the shift console, depress it to get the shifter into gear.
