1995 Toyota Corolla Brake Lights not working / car stuck in

Car is stuck in park. Got a tip to check to see if brake lights worked. They do not. Checked fuses, they look okay. Told it might be a sensor....what type of sensor is this and where is it located?

If no brake lights check brake light switch

if all OK check shifter interlock solenoid.
